Of course he can still be the sweetest thing eh-ver. When he gets in trouble he just loves to wrap his chubby arms around my neck and look lovingly at me...kissing me...rubbing his nose up to me...batting his little eyes as I try to yell at him or explain why he was in time out. What a little player!
Today, from time-out he said in a sing-songy voice: "I'm done sinning."
Later (after another time-out) we talked about it and I said, "What do you say?"
He said, "Sorry, God. Sorry, Mommy."
Then in a "gruff" voice...supposedly resembling...God???
"Sorry, God. --I forgive you."
On the bright side...he has begun to potty train himself! I tried not to get my hopes up, but now he regularly tells me when he needs to "go potty" (even though he means the other number) and he holds it until we get there. I rarely change a poopy diaper anymore. So now I DO have my hopes up...by October just one new bottom to begin diapering??? (please?!)
How I love you, my "baby"...my almost-2-year-old sinner and saint. :)

He is growing up...
Amazing about the potty training! That's super fantastic!
How FUNNY and SPECIAL! It's hard to see them grow up, but nice to have them a little more independent!
at least you have another one on the way! I can't believe my baby is not just my baby for now...
Isaiah barely even WAS a baby. I can't believe how fast that kid grew up. and I missed it all. :(
Love you BABY boy...
this is amazing. I love his gruff "God" voice. oh, Isaiah, if you would only go to bed when I babysit. hehe
He did "grow up" fast! (even though he's still little:) You are awfully lucky not to be changing poopy diapers anymore! We are not having any success with the whole #2 on the potty thing. Hopefully it will stick with Isaiah!!
What a great post! I am sure he makes you want to laugh and scream at the same time!
